He is used to getting stared at by by teenage fans who fantasise about being his girlfriend.

But Justin Bieber looked like he was doing a little fantasising of his own when he was caught staring at a pretty young cheerleader at a basketball match.

The 17-year-old star certainly seemed to be enjoying the routine as he got ready to cheer on the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Justin Bieber Previews 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' Music Video

One day before the premiere of Justin Bieber's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" music video, a short snippet comes out to give a clue on what to expect from the soon-to-be-released clip. Wearing a festive-themed jacket, the popstar is seen shopping for Christmas gifts with a few friends in a colorfully-decorated mall.

The full music video is set to be unleashed on Wednesday, November 30 during the airing of the annual Rockefeller Tree Lighting on NBC.Mariah Carey, the original singer of the single who also lends her vocals to Bieber's version, will make a cameo. She'll be seen lounging in a Santa Claus sleigh with her dog Jill E. Beans. 

The other special guests in the upcoming video include Alfredo Flores and Adam. The former once worked with Bieber to direct his "U Smile" music video, while the latter is the brother of his manager Scooter Braun. Adam additionally is the founder and executive director of Pencils of Promise, the non-profit organization Bieber has worked with since his rise to fame.

Justin Bieber has said that he wants to pull a Justin Timberlake on his next album. So what exactly does that mean? His longtime vocal producer, Kuk Harrell, spoke to MTV News about the early stages of Bieber's next release.

"The only conversation we've had about Justin's album that we're about to do is it's really important that it's the proper transition because we've seen him [with] 'Baby,' now we're watching him grow up," said Harrell, who has also worked with Rihanna on her Talk That Talk record. 

He added:

"And we can't just throw him into the adult game right away. It has to be the proper transition. There's a record in between."

With further details on this next album being kept under wraps, Bieber is busy celebrating the holidays. He's slated to release his video for "All I Want for Christmas," co-starring Mariah Carey, on Wednesday. Harrell worked with Bieber on his Under the Mistletoe LP and says agreeing to do a Christmas album with the teen phenomenon was an easy yes.

"That's why I think this Christmas album was really important because it gave everybody the opportunity to hear him, see him and get used to his voice changing. That was a huge thing going into this album. We were able to get a running start on where he's at vocally 'cause it's a natural thing. When his proper album comes out, everybody's going to really be looking at that."

What will be noticeably different on this next album, which was teased on his holiday album, is that Bieber's voice will be much deeper. So does Harrell think it'll be changing a lot more for this next record? "I think he's pretty good right now," he said. "It's just a matter of him settling [into] where he is."

Regardless of what magic does end up making the final cut on this album, which Bieber has said may include work from Drake and Kanye West, Harrell notes that the 17-year-old is "always willing to bring a new fire."

Justin Bieber is Santa’s Little Helper in his new video for Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, and it’s the part he was born to play! Just like ol’ Kris Kringle, after all, Biebz has the phenomenal ability to bring wonder and joy to the hearts of the very young. Also, the kid looks like an elf.

And in his new video, Bieber could pass for one famous imp in particular. Remember Hermey from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? Somebody investigate those claims Biebz is from Stratford, not the North Pole. These two were separated at birth. How else to account for the pop star’s new makeover — as a cuter than usual animated Christmas character?

Bieber inserts himself into classic Christmas special Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town — the 1970 Rankin Bass fairy-tale that’s become as much of a beloved holiday tradition as Bieber Christmas-wishes his new album Under the Mistletoe will some day be.

Still, the sight of watching an “Animagic” Bieber frolic with Kris Kringle and Topper the Penguin has a certain traditional charm that melismatic duets with ’90s R&B stars just can’t share. He dances with Christmas-y whatsits! He makes kids — and lady-reindeer — swoon! He watches kids sleep! (Just like Santa — and a certain Twilight vampire very popular with his key audience!) He even jams with Kris Kringle and Topper during the song’s Jackson 5-referencing break-down. (Kris Kringle happens to bear a certain resemblance to another renowned cartoon character at this point — Poochie — though we’ll let it slide since we’re feeling the spirit of Christmas, or something.)

And if that’s not enough for you, Bieber filmed a second version of the video, which will run before screenings of new holiday flick Arthur Christmas, out Nov. 23. That clip, however, is live action — all the better to show off the kid’s natural elfin endowments.

Under the Mistletoe is available now, and as the pop star reminded his 14 million+ followers on Twitter while sharing a link to the new Santa Claus vid, it’s No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week.

Justin Bieber Shoots "All I Want For Christmas" Video With Mariah Carey

Justin Bieber has been very busy this week. He dropped a new album,Under the Mistletoe on Tuesday, appeared on "Dancing With the Stars,"freestyled over the Throne's "Otis," and not only shot a music video withBoyz II Men for "Fa La La," but also managed to squeeze in a shoot with Mariah Carey.

Bieber and Carey both tweeted about the video for their reimagining of her classic holiday tune "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

Bieber tweeted about the shoot, referring to a California woman's claim that he fathered her child.

"Might have to go shoot this video with @mariahcarey for our duet! focused on the positives ... the music. #UNDERTHEMISTLETOE,"

He later shared

"4:30am and going hard on the 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' shoot with @mariahcarey !! #superfestive #underthemistletoe," .

The original video for the tune, shot to look like a home video, features Carey decked out in skimpy Santa suits and snow-bunny garb, running around decorating Christmas trees, playing in the snow, hanging with Santa and his elves, and generally getting into the holiday spirit.

Mariah Carey seemed equally stoked about the video shoot, gushing about it on her Twitter:

"Shooting the final take of 'All I Want.' duet with surprise appearance by Jilly beans & directed by my friend, the wonderful Sanaa Hamri,"

She said noting that the shoot was made even more special because it coincided with one of her personal milestones.
She added

"Happy anniversary to [my album] MERRY CHRISTMAS II YOU!!!" .

"On the night we're shooting the new 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' with @justinbieber."

Hamri has shot videos for Carey's "Crybaby," "Bringing on the Heartbreak" and "Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica)," as well as clips for Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and Christina Aguilera.

The shoot lasted all night, with Bieber tweeting Thursday morning (November 3) that Carey and the crew had wrapped up.

"Just wrapped the ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU with the icon and amazing @mariahcarey !" he wrote. "HONORED and I think this video is gonna b classic!"

Bieber told MTV News that getting Carey to join him for the duet was surprisingly easy.

"Mariah Carey is doing it with me! It's incredible. So excited. We wanted Mariah from the beginning, but we kind of thought it was really hard, so we didn't really push the idea. But she's on my label, so we reached out to some people, she got in contact with us, and Randy Jackson was actually at the studio with us, and I was like, 'Yo, you think you can help get Mariah on the Christmas album?' And he was like, 'I'm actually going to see her in New York on Monday,' and I was like 'Yo, go do that!' "
